WELCOME! JOIN US AS WE SHARE OUR ADVENTURE IN ROMANIA!

 

It is amazing what changes take place in ones life with God in the center.  We have been called to serve the Romanian people as the LORD displaced our hearts in October, 2005.  And nine months later...we moved! And it all had to do with farming!!  Imagine, the LORD using our farming skills to help orphans! Three years ago we had the opportunity to help in a gypsy village, to provide shoes for 75 children and food staples to 45 families for a month. (story here)  Then  the LORD provided a way for  us to do full-time missions work in Romania . We are working with a Christian organization, Caminul Felix, just outside of Oradea.   For more than 10 years, Caminul Felix has been rescuing and changing lives of many abandoned children who have called the streets their home.  They currently house 200 children between two facilities. They have a dairy farm on the premise to help provide for the children.  Due to John’s lifelong experience in dairy farming, we have been asked to assist them in their vision of expanding the facility to help house a greater number of abandoned children.  You can learn more about the farm and other  projects at www.actionfelix.org  We have been blessed by Assist International offering their help to receive our tax-deductible donations and shipping over some household supplies, along with boxes of shoes/socks for our Project Plenty ministry.   Why not grab a cup of coffee and browse our site to learn more of this great adventure!  Our Journey page has the latest updates.
